Quality control
Quality is controlled at every stage, not just inspected at the end: fabric, cutting, sewing, finishing and packing.

public/media/capabilities/quality-control.jpgMethods
- Fabric inspection
- Shade, width, defects and shrinkage checked on arrival.
- Inline inspection
- Checks at each stage of the line catch problems early.
- Final inspection to AQL
- A statistical sample of the finished lot checked against your spec.
- Third-party inspection
- Your own inspector or agency is welcome.
Best for
- Every order
What to specify
- Your AQL level (2.5 is common for major defects)
- Measurement tolerances
- Required lab tests (shrinkage, colour fastness, seam strength)
- Packing and labelling checklist
Quality control, answered.
- What does AQL 2.5 mean?
- It is the acceptable quality limit used in sampling inspection: a sample from the lot is checked, and the lot passes if major defects are within the limit set for that sample size.
