Sizing
European sizes vary by country: German sizing (34-46) is the common base, French adds 2 (36-48) and Italian adds 6 (38-50).
Practical notes
- Multi-language labels can be produced for several EU markets at once.
- Many EU buyers ask for third-party certificates; see the certificates on our Capabilities page.
- Quote FOB from India or agree another Incoterm with your forwarder.
Labelling and compliance
- Fibre names
- Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 requires fibre composition using harmonised fibre names, in the language(s) of the country of sale.
- Chemical safety
- REACH restricts substances such as certain azo dyes in textiles; ask for test reports to your restricted-substance list.
- Care symbols
- Care labelling is voluntary in most EU countries, but GINETEX symbols are standard practice.
- Sustainability rules
- EU textile rules are tightening (eco-design, digital product passports). Tell us your requirements and we'll supply the data we hold.

- Yes. Send your label artwork or language list and we produce the labels to match.
- Can you provide REACH or restricted-substance test reports?
- Fabrics and finished garments can be tested at an accredited lab to your restricted-substance list. Testing costs are agreed at the quote stage.
