Sizing
US numeric sizes (0-16 and up) or alpha sizes (XS-XL). We grade from your base size and fit-check on your block.
Practical notes
- Prices are usually quoted FOB from the Indian port; your freight forwarder handles ocean freight and US customs entry.
- Duty rates depend on fibre and construction (the HTS code), so share your classification or ask your customs broker early.
- Carton markings, UPC barcodes and hangtags are applied to your specification before shipping.
Labelling and compliance
- Fibre content and origin
- The Textile Fiber Products Identification Act requires fibre content by percentage, country of origin (e.g. Made in India) and the identity of the business, often by RN number.
- Care labelling
- The FTC Care Labeling Rule requires a permanent care label with at least one safe cleaning method.
- Flammability
- Clothing textiles fall under the federal flammability standard (16 CFR 1610); most common apparel fabrics pass, but sheer and brushed fabrics should be tested.
- Retailer requirements
- Many US retailers add their own testing, packing and labelling rules in a vendor compliance manual. Share it at the quote stage.
